Heating method

The most commonly used method is burner heating: using a burner to spray flames into the heating pipe to heat the Asphalt Container. The asphalt container is equipped with a heating pipe, and the heat generated by the burner is transferred to the asphalt in The Container through the heating pipe to heat the asphalt. This is currently a more commonly used heating method for asphalt containers. For example, the common 20-foot petroleum asphalt square tank container mostly adopts this method.

Electric heating: Heat is generated by electric heating elements to heat asphalt. This method is easy to use and easy to realize automatic control, which can make the asphalt more evenly heated. Compared with the traditional flame heating method, the average heating efficiency is increased by 30%, and there is no exhaust gas and carbon dioxide emissions during the heating process. The heating situation and temperature can also be remotely monitored in real time.

Heat transfer oil heating: Use heat transfer oil as the heat medium, and circulate the heat transfer oil in the heating pipe through a circulating pump to transfer heat to the asphalt. Heat transfer oil can obtain higher temperatures at lower operating pressures, has high thermal efficiency, heats asphalt evenly and quickly, and can effectively avoid local high temperature overheating of asphalt.

Heating equipment

Burners: are the core equipment of the burner heating method, including fuel burners and other types. When using, ensure that the burner is firmly installed and connected, the fuel pipeline is leak-free and bent, and there is enough fuel in the fuel tank.

Electric heating equipment: such as electric heating tubes, electric heating plates, etc. It has the advantages of precise temperature control, clean and environmentally friendly. Some advanced electric heating asphalt equipment also comes with temperature control equipment and systems.

Heat transfer oil heating unit: such as mobile asphalt heating module, that is, skid-mounted eddy current hot film asphalt special heating unit, using advanced stainless steel eddy current hot film tube as heat exchange element, which can achieve high efficiency, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, anti-scaling and other functions.

Precautions

Personnel protection: Personnel who heat, load and unload hot asphalt should wear heat-resistant gloves that fit tightly to the cuffs, eye and face protection, overalls, close-fitting safety boots, head protection devices, etc., and wear safety belts when working on the top of the tank container.

Safety inspection: Before heating, visually inspect all equipment to ensure that no parts are damaged; check the burner connection, fuel pipeline, etc. to ensure that there are no leaks and bends; check the fuel volume in the fuel barrel to ensure that the diesel is 0 or higher; check whether the tank vehicle is in a solid, horizontal position and fixed.

Heating operation: Open and close the burner and other heating equipment in strict accordance with the operating procedures, control the heating temperature, and generally control the heating end temperature between 120℃-130℃; during the heating process, monitor the asphalt temperature in the tank, adjust the flame, check whether the diesel pipe system leaks, monitor the fuel tank level, and ensure that unauthorized personnel stay away from the tank system.

Emergency treatment: Equip with a fire extinguisher and keep it ready for use at any time. In the event of asphalt leakage or accidental overflow, there must be enough sand to seal it; in case of burns, the burned area should be placed under running cold water for at least 10 minutes, or until it is completely cooled. Do not remove the asphalt stuck on the skin by yourself, and consult a doctor immediately.

We generally use asphalt containers with burner heating. Overall, burner heating is cost-effective and has the following advantages:

High heating efficiency: The burner can quickly generate a lot of heat. Through a reasonably designed heating pipe, the heat can be quickly transferred to the asphalt in the container, and the asphalt can be heated to the required temperature in a relatively short time, improving work efficiency.

Complete combustion: The two-stage fire control method and advanced atomization technology are adopted, such as smaller liquid atomization molecules, which can fully mix the fuel and air to achieve more complete combustion, thereby improving combustion efficiency and reducing fuel waste.

Strong applicability: It can adapt to the heating needs of asphalt of different sizes. Whether it is a small asphalt transport container or a large asphalt storage tank, the heating requirements can be met by selecting a burner of suitable power and type. And for different types of asphalt, such as ordinary petroleum asphalt, modified asphalt, etc., the burner heating method can play a good role.

Relatively low cost: Compared with some advanced heating methods such as electric heating, the equipment investment and operating costs of burner heating are relatively low. The price of the burner itself is relatively moderate, and the fuel used is usually common energy such as diesel, and the fuel cost is relatively low. In large-scale heating operations, the cost advantage is more obvious.

Mature technology: The burner heating technology has been developed and applied for a long time, and the technology is very mature. There are complete standards and specifications for the manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance of related equipment. Operators can easily master the operation methods. There are also many mature burner products on the market to choose from, and the equipment has high stability and reliability.
