Modular Container

The Expandable Container House—commonly referred to as the "Double-Wing Expandable Container" or "Magic Box"—is a modular mobile residence designed to be transported as a standard shipping container yet capable of being unfolded and expanded on-site; it combines the portability of a shipping container with the spaciousness of a traditional home.

Modular container houses are a new type of building that uses containers as basic units. Various modules are prefabricated in factories and then transported to the site for assembly and splicing. These containers can be standard freight containers or specially designed and manufactured container-type modules. The distribution of the internal space is designed according to the use requirements.
